More than 271,000 tourists visited the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) tourist sites in the past five days, said spokesman for the tourism department, KP, Saad Bin Owais.
The highest number of 100,000 tourists came to Galiyat, while 68,300 tourists visited Kaghan and Naran to enjoy the beauties of the region. 67,200 tourists came to Malam Jabba and 23,800 tourists to Dir Upper while 11,300 KP Tourism came to Lower Chitral and 685 to Upper Chitral.
36 foreign tourists visited tourist sites in the province. Steps are being taken to promote tourism and provide all kinds of facilities for tourists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the spokesperson added.
