Pakistan and Korea have consented to improve joint efforts in heritage, art, culture, skills area and information technology.
The agreement was done in Islamabad on Friday in a meeting between Education and Professional Training Minister Shafqat Mahmood and a delegation from Korea led by Ambassador Suh Sangpyo.
ISLAMABAD – Korean Ambassador to Pakistan Suh Sangpyo called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi on Thursday. “During the meeting, matters of mutual interest, regional security and enhanced bilateral and defence cooperation were discussed,” says a press release issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Directorate following the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, COAS Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa said that Pakistan attaches great importance to furthering bilateral relations with Republic of Korea in all domains. “Both reiterated the desire to further enhance bilateral relations including efforts for peace and security in the region,” the ISPR said.
The visiting dignitary appreciated Pakistan’s sincere efforts for bringing peace and stability in the region, especially the Afghan Peace Process.
Both the parties wished to extend ties through mutual cooperation and professional coordination in the fields of art,culture and and education.
