Emirates Airlines has offered hundreds of jobs to Pakistani students of travel and airlines. College of Tourism & Hotel Management (COTHM) has taken a lead and 25 contract letters have been handed over to its shining students in a wonderful ceremony that was presided by Minister for Local Government and Community Development (LG&CD) Mian Mehmood ur Rashid.
According to the details, LG&CD Minister Mian Mehmood ur Rashid visited COTHM on Saturday and distributed contract letters of Emirates Airlines among 25 students.
COTHM CEO Ahmad Shafiq welcomed the minister and took him on a round of the state-of-the-art facility.
The minister showed keen interest in the hospitality, travel, tourism, airline, baking, and soft skills programs being offered at the college and assured his full support to the college.
He also said that COTHM was doing a great job and its branches should be there in all the divisional headquarters.
COTHM CEO Ahmad Shafiq said on the occasion that COTHM trains its students to pursue financial opportunities at global level.
He further said that COTHM had trained above 35000 students in different segments of the hospitality and tourism.
