College of Tourism and Hospitality Management (COTHM) hosted an event on 26th of November, 2021 at its North Nazimabad Campus celebrating the International Cake Day Competitions. Above 40 students participated in six categories of cakes on the day of the event.
(The categories in which the competitions were held were Butter Cream, Painted Butter Cream/Fondant, Double Tier Fondant, Anti- Gravity Fondant, 3D Cakes and Wedding Cakes. Apart from the competitions, the event consisted of eventful decoration and stalls.
COTHM Karachi Executive Director said the main purpose of hosting such events is to promote healthy-friendly competitions and appreciate the skills and knowledge of our future Mavericks. The judge’s panel consisted of well-known Baking and Patisserie Personnel along with the presence of Pakistan’s National Culinary team on-board.
The winners were awarded with Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals and all the participants were awarded with certificates and appreciations along with exclusive gift hampers.
