Pakistan shines at World Tourism Market, London after 14 years

PTDC has set up a beautiful ‘Pakistan Pavilion‘ at World Tourism Market London 2022 after 14 years to let the world know about Pakistan’s amazing tourism potential.

In a bid to showcase country’s tourism potential to the world, Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) has participated in the World Tourism Market (WTM) London after 14 years. WTM London is the most prestigious tourism forum where a large number of countries from around the world display their tourism potential.

As per details, PTDC has set up a beautiful ‘Pakistan Pavilion’ at WTM London 2022 after 14 years to let the world know about Pakistan’s amazing tourism potential. A huge number of visitors took to the magnificent Pakistan Pavilion where Adviser to the Prime Minister on Sports and Tourism Awn Chaudry, PTDC Member Board of Directors & COTHM CEO Ahmad Shafiq, Gilgit Baltistan Tourism Minister Raja Nasir Ali, Legend Hotels Managing Director Azeem Qureshi, senior journalist Mubeen Rasheed and many other delegates from Pakistan welcomed them.

At the WTM London 2022, after attending a conference on “UNWTO THE FUTURE OF TRAVEL STARTS NOW” Awn Chaudry presented memento shields to UNWTO Secretary General Zurab Pololikashvili and Saudi Arabia Minister for Tourism Ahmed Al Khateeb.

During the festivities of WTM, Pakistani High Commissioner to UK Moazam Ali Khan hosted a wonderful dinner for the team Pakistan and appreciated the amazing showcasing of Pakistan’s tourism potential arranged by the PTDC.

While talking to media, Awn Chaudry said that the world must know about the tourism potential of Pakistan and that is why we are taking part in the global forum WTM. He further said that Pakistan would keep on showcasing its tourism potential to the forums like WTM in future as well.

Ahmad Shafiq while talking to media said that Pakistan’s hospitality and tourism sectors have made remarkable progress in the recent years and these sectors deserve global recognition. He also invited the local and foreign community to visit Pakistan Pavilion to know more about the tourism potential of Pakistan.
