College of Tourism & Hotel Management (COTHM) in collaboration with Pakistan’s renowned bakery brand, Cakes & Bakes, organized a thrilling Cake-Making Competition, bringing together aspiring baking and patisserie students and professional bakers under one roof.
The event witnessed a remarkable turnout, with participants showcasing their exceptional talent, creativity, and passion for the art of baking. All the participants were awarded certificates of participation, while winners from both the students’ and professionals’ categories received cash prizes, an acknowledgment to their outstanding skills.
The panel of esteemed judges included Mustajab Ahmad, General Manager of Research & Development at Cakes & Bakes, Muhammad Mustafa, Executive Pastry Chef at Bread & Beyond, and Faiza Iqbal, Senior Pastry Chef at COTHM. Their expert evaluations highlighted the technical proficiency, creativity, and artistry of the participants’ creations.
Speaking on the occasion, Mustajab Ahmad shared his excitement: “It is inspiring to witness such exceptional talent in the field of baking and patisserie. Competitions like these not only encourage creativity but also provide a platform for budding bakers to learn, grow, and excel.
