COTHM celebrates International Pizza Day 2025 with a flavorful ‘Pizza Innovation Competition’

On International Pizza Day 2025, College of Tourism & Hospitality Management (COTHM) turned up the heat and embraced the art of pizza-making in a grand celebration of creativity, culinary passion, and delicious innovation. The institution organized a spectacular Pizza Innovation Competition, where students and chefs came together to showcase their talent, craftsmanship, and enthusiasm for one of the world’s most beloved dishes — pizza.

 

The competition was a true feast for the senses as the aroma of freshly baked pizzas filled the air, tantalizing the taste buds of all in attendance. From perfecting the dough to layering on an array of inventive and mouth-watering toppings, the event highlighted the incredible skills and creativity of COTHM’s students and chefs. Each participant poured their passion for pizza into every detail, from texture to flavor, ensuring that their creations were nothing short of extraordinary.

The event not only celebrated the global favorite pizza but also encouraged innovation in its preparation and presentation. The competition was made even more memorable with the support of several prestigious industry partners, including KnN’s, Islanders Choice, Dawn Foods, Dough Story, Farmers Cheese Making, and Cheezious. These esteemed partners contributed to the event’s success, providing gifts, ingredients, products, and expertise that inspired the contestants to elevate their creations and take their pizza-making to new heights.

 

The event was an engaging, fun-filled celebration of creativity and excellence in the culinary arts. Guests were treated to a variety of pizzas that spanned different styles, textures, and flavors, each crafted with precision and flair.
