Awn Chaudhry officially inaugurates Pakistan Pavilion at WTM

Awn Chaudry, Adviser to Prime Minister on Sports and Tourism, inaugurated the ‘Pakistan Pavilion‘ at the World Travel Market (WTM) in London on Monday. Tourism Ministers from Azad Jammu and Kashmir, as well as the High Commissioner of Pakistan to the United Kingdom, Moazzam Ahmad Khan, were also present.

Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC), Provincial Tourism Departments, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, and Gilgit Baltistan, led by Awn Chaudry, took part in the travel show. He expressed gratitude to the organisers and stated that showcasing Pakistan’s tourism opportunities at international travel shows such as World Tourism Market would help attract more tourists to Pakistan.  He also took suggestions from the participants and assured them of the Government of Pakistan’s full cooperation.

According to the Adviser, Pakistan is blessed with beautiful landscapes and cultural diversity, which is why the country has seen an exponential increase in tourism recently. Chaudry stated that the government was committed to promoting tourism abroad and was working hard to improve tourism infrastructure to make it more accessible to tourists.
