The snow has been removed from main highways in Murree but the roads are still slippery and people have been advised to abide by the instructions of the administration and traffic police.

Chairman National Disaster Management Authority Lt. Gen. Akhtar Nawaz in a statement said that there is a fear of slippery incidents and pedestrian injuries as the snow is still on both sides of the roads due to heavy snowfall.

Meanwhile, Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid has said that ban on entrance to Murree and Galiat from Islamabad will remain enforced till today [Monday].

In a statement, he said only residents of Murree and adjoining areas will be allowed to enter these areas.
