Decorated Cake making play a prominent role in events such as birthdays, wedding anniversaries, and Mother’s Day. Because some consumers demand varied cakes decoration, and in response to an increasingly competitive environment, Chocolate Academy is offering a one month program in Cake Decoration and Fondant Art, to help meet the market demands.
Topics in this program include cake decorating techniques, recipes, tools and skill development, cake decorating, creating cakes with special effects, candy molds, novelties, international styles, delivery, set up techniques and business practices. A variety of icings, designs, and shaping techniques will be covered. Upon successful completion, students will receive a Certificate of Completion in bread Decoration and Fondant Art.
Our latest batch concluded on 30th March with a cake make competition. The event featured cakes that were made live, as competitors, up against the clock, rolled out fondant with rolling pins, cut out shapes and painted and stacked layers of adorable cakes.
“With the help of this unique bread baking competition, young entrepreneurs are getting a proper platform to show their skills”, said Zainab Shafiq, CEO Chocolate Academy.
Expert chefs from notable patisseries judged the competition and awarded the winners with cash prize and certificates.
Two complementary sessions were also organized for the participants to teach them how to create a social media presence for their new found skills in caking artistry, as well as vital knowledge in food hygiene practices.
