The chairman of the CDA visited the site of ‘Sarai’ (tavern) and ordered the immediate start of the restoration and restoration of an ancient heritage.

He has also formed a committee that will assist the department concerned, oversee the restoration of “Sarai” and open up the ancient heritage to tourists. The “Sarai” is in poor condition as the site has never attracted the attention of archaeologists.

The chairman was told that Mughal Emperor Jahangir also mentioned in his memories that he once stood on “Sarai” for 900 years while traveling the route in 1605.
