In a memorable moment that beautifully bridged the worlds of culinary excellence and hospitality education, legendary chef Anton Mosimann presented his autobiography, Life is a Circus, to Ahmad Shafiq, the Founder, President, and CEO of the College of Tourism & Hospitality Management (COTHM), during an exclusive gathering at his renowned culinary space in Switzerland.

This momentous event took place during the EURHODIP 102nd Board of Directors and 38th General Assembly meetings, held from March 27 to March 30, 2025. Ahmad Shafiq, a respected member of EURHODIP’s Board of Directors, visited Chef Mosimann’s culinary sanctuary alongside other esteemed board members. The gathering was a powerful exchange between key figures in the global hospitality education landscape and one of the world’s most celebrated chefs. It provided an opportunity to honor Mosimann’s unparalleled career and gain insight into his life’s remarkable journey, which spans decades of groundbreaking work in the culinary arts.
