In a heartfelt gesture of solidarity and humanitarian support, Chefs Association of Pakistan (CAP) and College of Tourism and Hotel Management (COTHM) have donated €1000 to aid the earthquake-affected people of Myanmar under the Worldchefs Without Borders initiative.
This donation reflects the compassion and commitment of the Pakistani chefs’ community towards global humanitarian causes. The amount was released on the directive of Ahmad Shafiq who is the Founder/President & CEO of COTHM and President of CAP.
“As a member of the Worldchefs family, we feel a deep sense of responsibility to stand with our brothers and sisters in need across the world,” said Ahmad Shafiq in an exclusive statement to Hospitality Plus magazine. “CAP and COTHM work in close coordination with Worldchefs, and we are always ready to respond to their call in times of crisis.”
The Chefs Association of Pakistan is the only national culinary association in the country affiliated with Worldchefs, Paris, while COTHM serves as its recognized education partner. Their joint contribution symbolizes the chefs’ fraternity’s love, empathy, and unwavering support for global humanitarian efforts.
This initiative marks another milestone in CAP and COTHM’s ongoing collaboration with Worldchefs Without Borders, which mobilizes the international culinary community to provide assistance during natural disasters and humanitarian emergencies.
