The College of Tourism & Hotel Management (COTHM) recently celebrated the International Day Against Drug Abuse with a special program aimed at raising awareness among students about the dangers of drug abuse. The event featured Syed Zulfiqar Hussain, a renowned consultant/expert in the anti-drugs narcotics Campaign, who emphasized the importance of living a drug-free life. He highlighted the severe damage drugs inflict on individuals’ lives, stressing the necessity for young people to stay away from these harmful substances.

Syed Zafar Abbas Naqvi, DSP Police, attended the event as a special guest and delivered a comprehensive lecture on drug abuse. His insights underscored the legal and societal consequences of drug use, reinforcing the message of prevention and vigilance. The program was a significant step in educating students about the perils of drug abuse and encouraging a healthier, drug-free lifestyle.
