College of Tourism & Hotel Management (COTHM) proudly celebrated Punjab Culture Day with great enthusiasm and traditional fervor at its head office located in New Garden Town, Lahore.
The colorful event was graced by esteemed guests including Cheesious CEO Imran Ijaz, PTDC Managing Director Aftab Rana, senior journalist Zulfiqar Rahat, and MPA Ali Haider Gillani, among others, who joined as Guests of Honour to support and appreciate the cultural showcase.
Students of COTHM enthusiastically set up an array of cultural and food stalls, offering a rich taste of Punjab’s vibrant heritage. From Punjabi Kitchen and traditional wedding displays to the horse dance, baggi rides, Punjabi dera, and mouth-watering local cuisine, the event brought the essence of Punjabi culture to life.
Adding a spirit of competition to the celebration, the best stalls were recognized and awarded cash prizes for their creativity and cultural representation.
COTHM Founder, President & CEO Ahmad Shafiq personally welcomed all distinguished guests and led them on a guided tour of the stalls, appreciating the efforts and talent of the students.
Speaking on the occasion, Ahmad Shafiq stated, “Punjab Culture Day is not just a celebration—it’s a tribute to our rich heritage and a way to connect our students with the roots of hospitality and tradition. We’re proud to showcase our culture through the creativity and passion of our young professionals.”
The event not only highlighted the cultural richness of Punjab but also underscored COTHM’s commitment to promoting heritage, tourism, and hospitality through immersive learning experiences.
