College of Tourism & Hotel Management (COTHM) CEO Ahmad Shafiq hosted a distinguished dinner event in the honour of Zahid Anjum, Honorary Consul of Kosovo, on November 1, 2024 at COTHM’s head office.
The esteemed event brought together a dynamic gathering of personalities, including prominent businessmen, esteemed journalists, bureaucrats, and respected members of civil society.
A team of professional and skilled chefs at COTHM cooked a variety of dishes including Pakistani specialties for the valued guests.
Addressing the gathering, Ahmad Shafiq extended his warm welcome to the honorary consul and all the attendees, emphasizing the importance of nurturing international ties.
He said, “Our relationship with Kosovo is built on a foundation of mutual respect and shared aspirations. As institutions like COTHM expand their global outreach, we look forward to fostering even stronger connections between Pakistan and Kosovo, encouraging growth in education, trade, and cultural exchange.”
Zahid Anjum, expressing his gratitude, shared his vision for the developing friendship between the two countries. “Pakistan and Kosovo share more than just diplomatic ties; we share a spirit of collaboration and shared growth. Events like tonight’s gathering are crucial for strengthening our bilateral relations and exploring new avenues for cooperation in fields like tourism and hospitality,” he noted.
