COTHM, Diet Studio, FCM, CRealz celebrate World Health Day 2025 with interactive session & quiz program

On World Health Day 2025, College of Tourism & Hotel Management (COTHM) hosted an engaging and educational event featuring an interactive session and quiz program, aimed at promoting healthy living and better food choices among the students. The event, which took place at COTHM’s New Garden Town campus, brought together industry experts and health professionals to share valuable insights into nutrition, health issues, and healthy dietary habits.

The event was graced by renowned guest speakers including Imran Saleh, CEO of Farmers Cheese Making, and Hajra Saleem, a respected dietitian. Both of these influential figures provided essential knowledge and practical advice to students on maintaining a balanced and healthy diet. Farmers Cheese Making and CRealz by ODR Foods sponsored their products for the quiz program, adding an exciting touch to the event.

 

During her address, Dr. Ayesha Iftikhar, Head of the Department of Food, Nutrition & Safety Sciences at COTHM, shared her expert knowledge on making healthy food choices and its significance in today’s fast-paced world.

Hajra Saleem elaborated on various health issues faced by the general population and discussed effective remedies and preventative measures.

Imran Saleh focused on the dietary needs of students, emphasizing the importance of incorporating nutritious and wholesome foods into their routines.

The event culminated in an interactive quiz program where students had the opportunity to test their knowledge about health and nutrition. The winners were awarded exciting prizes, graciously sponsored by Farmers Cheese Making and CRealz by ODR Foods.

COTHM Media & Marketing Director Fraaz Kasuri, who convened the activity, expressed sincere gratitude to the guest speakers for their valuable contributions. “We are thankful to Imran Saleh and Hajra Saleem for their time and insights.
