COTHM Karachi Executive Director Sabir Ahmed and Pakistan Consumer Association (PAC) Vice Chairman Sheikh Khalil ur Rehman on behalf of COTHM Pakistan & Dubai and Consumer Association of Pakistan respectively paid a condolence visit to Sri Lankan Consulate in Karachi.
As per details, COTHM Karachi Executive Director Sabir Ahmed and Pakistan Consumer Association PAC Vice Chairman Sheikh Khalil ur Rehman led a delegation to Sri Lankan Consulate in Karachi and met Consulate General of Sri Lanka Jagath Abeywarna in his office.
The purpose of the visit was to condole with the consulate general over the sad and brutal demise of Priyantha Diyawadana, a Sri Lankan national in Sialkot.
The delegation expressed its grief and assured the consulate general that Pakistani nation stands with the Sri Lankan community in this difficult and painful time.
The participants of the delegation wrote their views in the condolence book while Jegath Abeywarna said thanks to the delegation for supporting the the Sri Lankan people and government in the difficult time.
Priyantha Diyawadana was a Sri Lankan national working in a private factory at Sialkot. He was brutally murdered by a group of people working in the same factory. The Government of Pakistan has already condemned the incident at national and international levels.
