College of Tourism and Hotel Management (COTHM awareness session at LCWU) Department of Food, Nutrition & Safety Sciences (DFNSS) arranged an awareness and interactive session with the Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) students of Nutrition & Health Sciences yesterday here at LCWU Department of Home Economic (DHE). The students were briefed about International Training & Certifications accredited through UK.

Aimed to provide hands on training to students and equipping them with practical skills, the session lasted for almost two hours. Speaking at the occasion, COTHM faculty member Kalsoom Riaz stated that students must be made aware of the chances to study further so they can avail them and get international certifications which may be beneficial for their career growth.

A large number of students and teachers participated in the session. At the end of session, the students also asked different questions regarding further studies and career growth in the field.

Later, COTHM awareness session at LCWU Department of Home Economics management thanked and appreciated COTHM Department of Food, Nutrition & Safety Sciences faculty and staff members for conducting this wonderful session. They said that awareness regarding UK accredited certifications and international trainings will not only benefit the students wishing to become Internationally Certified but this will also be helpful in building a successful career.
