French Ambassador Nicholas Galey has said that the French government intends to continue working with the Punjab government to protect tourism and historic sites during a meeting with Punjab (CM) Prime Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi on Monday.
He added that this cooperation will be further strengthened when a team of French educational institutions visit Punjab in the near future. During the meeting, they also agreed to expand bilateral cooperation in the fields of education, tourism, historical preservation and information technology.
The CM assured that the necessary resources will be made available to French companies considering investing in the very favorable Punjab market.
The meeting was also attended by Ambassador’s wife Camelia Galey, Head of the French Economic Department, Laurent Chopin, French government Political Consular, Sokrarith Henry, Member of the National Assembly of Pakistan, Hussain Elahi, Chief Secretary, Secretary Principal of the CM, Muhammad Khan Bhatti and several other concerned officials.
