The federal secretary for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony provided this information during a meeting on Wednesday. Senator Talha Mahmood, Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, presided over the meeting and made clear that there will be no compromises in the provision of the best amenities to Pakistani pilgrims during this year’s Hajj.

The Minister said that efforts are being made to finish all Hajj-related arrangements as quick as possible. The biometric procedure for pilgrims will be finished by Friday, the secretary added, and training for the Hajj would start on Thursday.

He emphasized that attendance at the training sessions being held at the Tehsil and district levels is required of pilgrims.
