Important UAE airlines introduce new ticketing method

The interline arrangement between Emirates and Etihad Airways has been expanded to give visitors to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) more flight alternatives. This summer, customers of both airlines will be able to purchase a single ticket that allows them to travel into either Dubai or Abu Dhabi and back again using the other airport.

With this new deal in place, visitors to the United Arab Emirates may purchase tickets for their entire trip in a single location and check all of their bags at the same time. Passengers can purchase a single ticket that covers all of their flights, regardless of which airlines they are flying with. All of a traveler’s flights, including any connections, can be booked at once, with a single payment.

At first, the two airlines would aim to draw customers from certain locations in Europe and China. Tourists will no longer have to return to their origin airport after enjoying Abu Dhabi, Dubai, or any of the other emirates thanks to this deal.

The MoU was signed at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2023 in Dubai by Adnan Kazim, the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of Emirates, and Mohammad Al Bulooki, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Etihad Airways. Attendees included Tim Clark, President of Emirates, and Antonoaldo Neves, CEO of Etihad Airways, among others in high positions.
