All the restaurant closed associations in Pakistan have united against the cruel and callous policies of the government regarding the unjustified closure of restaurants in the country.

As per details, restaurant associations of the major cities in Pakistan have decided to protest against the unjustified closure of the restaurant industry for last one and a half year.

Earlier, restaurant associations in the country have been complaining time to time against the cruelty of the authorities for the restaurants but this time all are on page as this about their survival now.

According to the statistics, around 40 percent restaurants in Pakistan are permanently closed while the remaining ones are on the verge of closure.

It is feared that if not handled carefully immediately the restaurant closed industry in Pakistan might be closed permanently.

Restaurant associations are of the view that a restaurant is the only place where one can follow the Covid-19 SOPs effectively.

Representatives of Lahore Restaurant Association (LRA) and Islamabad Restaurant Association (IRA) say that closing restaurants for weekends and putting time restrictions on weekdays are killing elements for this industry.

IRA and LRA have issued a statement that if the government did not address the concerns of the restaurants, owners and employees of all the restaurant associations in Pakistan would protest in front of the building of the NCOC and would also stage a sit-in if needed.
