For the impending Eid-ul-Fitr holidays, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced a 10% price cut on domestic flights.

Details indicate that on April 22 and 23, travellers flying domestically will be able to benefit from this discount. Minister for Aviation Khawaja Saad Rafique gave the CEO of the national flag carrier specific orders to announce the Eid-ul-Fitr package, which aims to ease domestic travel throughout the holiday season.

In response to the Minister’s order, PIA has launched this initiative to help its clients and increase everyone’s access to and affordability of air travel. On the other hand, the federal government just sent out a notification regarding the approaching Eid holidays.

According to the announcement, Pakistani residents will take a five-day vacation from April 21 to April 25 in observance of Eid-ul-Fitr, a joyous occasion that heralds the conclusion of the fasting month of Ramadan.

According to scientific forecasts, April 22, Saturday, is the most likely date for Eid-ul-Fitr to occur. To gather proof of the Shawwal crescent sighting, the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will meet on April 20, which is Ramadan 29, in the evening.
