College of Tourism and Hotel Management (COTHM) hosted a grand Youth Skills Showcasing event aimed at developing technical and vocational skills among the youth. The event, held at COTHM’s New Garden Town campus, was attended by prominent figures from various sectors.
Prime Minister’s Youth Programme (PMYP) Chairman Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan graced the occasion as the chief guest. Highlighting the spirit of the season, he also participated in a Christmas cake-cutting ceremony.
The event saw the presence of notable dignitaries, including Chief Executive Officer of Punjab Skills Development Fund (PSDF) Ahmed Khan, Honorary Consul of Kosovo Zahid Anjum, PMYP DG Shahbaz Shamsi, and Superintendent of Prisons Zaheer Ahmed Vark.
COTHM Founder/President & CEO, Ahmad Shafiq, gave the distinguished guests a guided tour of the campus, where they witnessed a vibrant display of skills demonstrated by a large number of students. From culinary arts to hospitality and tourism management, the students showcased their expertise, reflecting the high standards of training imparted at COTHM.
Addressing the media, Rana Mashhood praised COTHM’s commitment to excellence, stating, “COTHM is an institution of international standards, enabling students to work across the globe. Skill development among male and female students is a critical need of the modern era, and COTHM is fulfilling this requirement exceptionally well.”
Ahmad Shafiq shared his vision for the institution, saying, “COTHM is dedicated to shaping a better future for its students by equipping them with industry-relevant skills that meet global standards.”
