University of the Punjab (PU) Vice Chancellor Dr Niaz Ahmad Akhtar visited the new campus of College of Tourism ad & Hotel Management (COTHM) on Tuesday and appreciated the state-of-the-art facilities at the college.

According to the details, Dr Niaz Ahmad Akhtar visited COTHM’s on Tuesday and had a round of all the departments at the college.

COTHM CEO Ahmad Shafiq along with all the faculty members, heads of departments and administration staff welcomed Dr Niaz and briefed him about COTHM’s different initiatives.

COTHM COO Zaheer Ahmad, International Development Director Babar Sheikh, Registrar Muhammad Jamil and Hospitality Plus Executive Editor Fraaz Mahmud Kasuri were also present on the occasion.

Ahmad Shafiq took the vice chancellor to a short yet comprehensive visit of the campus and informed him about the specialized functionalities of all the departments. He also presented a souvenir to the vice chancellor.

Dr Niaz admired the professional work done by COTHM and loved the students’ hard work.

Talking to media, he said that COTHM was contributing to the sectors of hospitality and tourism in both academic and professional ways.
