Federal Minister for Railways Azam Khan Sawati has inaugurated a special train “Christmas Peace Pray Train” to make travelling easy for the Christians during Christmas celebrations.

While attending a gathering organized in connection with Christmas, Federal Minister for Railways Azam Khan Sawati cut the Christmas cake as well. Talking on the occasion, he said that the ceremony was arranged to share the happiness of the Christian community while promoting interfaith harmony in the country.

He also said that minorities who live in Pakistan enjoy equal rights and this balance leads the country towards peace and stability.

He announced that the special Christmas train will travel from Lahore to Karachi while two additional coaches will also be attached with Allama Iqbal Express during the Christmas holidays to spread the message of peace and happiness.

On the occasion, he also wished Merry Christmas to all the Christian community on behalf of prime minister, governor, Punjab and all the ministers.
