Ashar Iqbal, Regional Director of the Punjab Tourism Development Corporation (TDCP), said work has been started on many tourist attractions to boost tourism in South Punjab.
In a statement on the occasion of World Tourism Day, the Regional Director of TDCP said the government is providing various facilities and incentives to promote tourism in the culturally rich region of South Punjab.
TDCP teams are looking at various initiatives in this regard and South Punjab is rich in tourist attractions, he said.
Previously, a motorcycle rally was organized as part of World Tourism Day. Cyclists from Lahore, Faisalabad, Haroon abad, Hyderabad and Multan took part in the recreational event. In each region, the focus is also on cultural identity to celebrate the ceremonies.
