The national airline of Saudi Arabia has started a 48-hour flash sale that offers a staggering 60% off airfares to a variety of international locations. The promotion is available for purchase on April 19 and 20 and is good for travel in May. On flights from Saudi Arabia to Bangkok, Dubai, Frankfurt, Seoul, New York, Kuala Lumpur, Los Angeles, London, Manila, and Zurich, the airline is providing discounts.

It is important to note that this offer is only valid for the Basic Economy class at this time. According to Saudia, the official airline of Saudi Arabia, it received almost 7 million passengers in the first quarter of 2023. In comparison to the same time last year, there has been a 35% increase.

Domestic travellers made up 3.2 million of the total, while international passengers made up 3.8 million, a phenomenal 94% rise. During first quarter of 2023, Saudia’s aircraft completed over 42,000 flights on four continents, an increase of 5% from the previous year. This led to an increase of 26% and more than 127,500 flight hours. Over 18,300 international flights were conducted by the airline, an increase of 40% from the prior year, totaling 87,300 flight hours, a rise of 55.2%.
