TDCP displays photos received in contest

World Tourism Day programs kicked off on Friday with a two-day photo exhibition at the Alhamra, The Mall Road Lahore. There are about 100 photos on TDCP photography display.

The Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP photography display) conducted “Heritage through lens” contests in which it received photos of various Punjab cities for display.

Students from four universities worked on various heritage sites together with the Archeology Directorate. Punjab Minister Raja Yasir Humayun and Tourism Minister Ehsan Bhutta officially inaugurated the exhibition. Several departments have joined together to promote tourism.

The minister congratulated the Department of Tourism and the Secretary for the success of the event and said that the Department is very talented and that the work is improving every day. Punjab is rich in culture and religious tourism. The celebrations last a week.
