The Pakistan Tourism Website has been successfully launched on Monday in Beijing, China, as part of the China-Pakistan Year of Tourism Exchanges. The Pakistani embassy developed the Chinese-language website Discover Batie (also known as Discover Iron-clad Friend Pakistan) to promote Pakistan’s extensive collection of cultural and tourism resources throughout China. The website also offers suggestions for routes, information on how to process visas, and many other resources.

Speaking at the event, Pakistan’s ambassador to China, Moin ul Haque, emphasised Pakistan’s potential as a tourist destination due to its rich cultural heritage, geographic diversity, and biological diversity. He also noted that Pakistan, as China’s friend, had taken extensive measures to prepare for the arrival of Chinese tourists. “Pakistan welcomes Chinese tourists and has established relevant tourism committees and organisations, introduced favourable policies to facilitate visas and promote the growth and rejuvenation of tourism,” he continued.
