Worldchefs lauds Pakistani female chefs’ participation in Worldchefs Global Chefs Challenge; awards merit certificates

Chefs Association of Pakistan (CAP) made history by representing Pakistan for the first time at the Worldchefs Global Chefs Challenge. The competition was held in Manila, Philippines from August 2-5, 2023.

Two Pakistani female chefs Chef Faiza Iqbal and Chef Ayesha Mushtaq under the aegis of CAP participated in the competition. Chef Iqbal competed in the vegan category and earned a Merit Certificate. Chef Mushtaq competed in the hot kitchen competition and also earned a Merit Certificate. Worldchefs President Thomas Gugler appreciated CAP for training female chefs to participate in Worldchefs Global Chefs Challenge. He congratulated CAP President Ahmad Shafiq and both the participants for successfully representing Pakistan at one of the most prestigious culinary challenges in the world.

CAP President Ahmad Shafiq who led the delegation introduced the participants to the higher management of Worldchefs.

“We are very proud of Chef Faiza Iqbal and Chef Ayesha Mushtaq for representing Pakistan at the Worldchefs Global Chefs Challenge,” said CAP President Ahmad Shafiq. “They have made Pakistan proud and inspired other female chefs in Pakistan to pursue their culinary dreams.”

“CAP congratulates Chef Faiza Iqbal and Chef Ayesha Mushtaq on their accomplishments. CAP is confident that these two talented chefs will continue to represent Pakistan proudly in the future”, he added.
